How Food gets digested * The food that we eat is broken into smaller pieces mix with saliva present in our mouth and then travel to stomach through foodpipe. * The food gets mixed with various juices produced by the stomach which help in digesting the food. *The digested food travels into the small intestine. The undigested food travels into the large intestine from where it is thrown out of the body through the anus.
